Jonathan has spent nearly three decades translating complex business requirements into scalable, secure infrastructure — from defining multi-cloud landing zones and governing architecture review boards to presenting modernization roadmaps to C-suite audiences. At Marriott, he served dual roles as Technical Architect and Product Owner across AWS, Azure, OCI, and AliCloud. At Technologent, he was the primary enterprise architecture advisor to CIO-level clients, contributing to over $100M in won engagements through technical solutioning and partner collaboration.

At Infinite Ranges, Jonathan led a 200+ person Platform Engineering organization — owning P&L, driving partner-aligned GTM strategies with AWS, GCP, Red Hat, and HashiCorp, and introducing Agile SAFe delivery models. At Marriott, he drove containerization strategy across Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, OpenShift), established cluster governance and observability frameworks, and delivered multi-year technology roadmaps that directly informed executive investment decisions. He has mentored hundreds of architects and engineers, building Centers of Excellence and architecture review boards that outlast any single engagement.

Automation isn't a buzzword in Jonathan's practice — it's a discipline. He founded Marriott's Automation Center of Excellence, architecting the enterprise stack using Ansible Automation Platform, Terraform Cloud, and a custom full-stack portal built with React.js, Node.js, and TypeScript integrated with ServiceNow, Dynatrace, Vault, and Splunk. As Lead Ansible Architect for AbbVie, he migrated the enterprise from Ansible Tower to AAP 2.4 at scale. At ConAgra Foods, he enhanced Oracle and SAP HANA automation using Ansible, Azure DevOps, and Packer. He champions IaC-first delivery and has built Python and shell automation frameworks that have eliminated manual toil across every organization he's touched.

This is where it started — and it runs deep. Jonathan's database expertise spans 20+ years across the full spectrum of enterprise data platforms. His Oracle specialization began at Oracle Corporation delivering solutions for Department of Defense agencies and extends across the complete stack: RAC, Exadata, Data Guard, GoldenGate, ASM, Enterprise Manager, E-Business Suite, Fusion (HCM, Financials, SCM), and Siebel CRM. He is a recognized OCI subject matter expert, having managed Marriott's business-critical Oracle HCM, Oracle Financials, and Fusion application environments — and brings deep fluency in Oracle Cloud architecture, migrations, and operational governance that few practitioners can match.

Beyond Oracle, Jonathan has architected and managed enterprise environments across PostgreSQL, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and NoSQL platforms including Couchbase, MongoDB, and Cassandra. He designed a multi-cloud Database-as-a-Service platform supporting both relational and NoSQL engines with automated provisioning through Ansible, Terraform, and a React.js/Node.js microservice frontend. His cloud-native database expertise spans AWS RDS and Aurora, Azure SQL and Cosmos DB, GCP Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Cloud Spanner, Firestore, and Snowflake.

At Google (via Deloitte), he architected Oracle Maximum Availability Solutions for the company's ERP system, improving resilience by 40%. At Hewlett-Packard, he supported a nationwide deployment of 400 Oracle RAC clusters for the U.S. Postal Service. At Cisco, he delivered HA/DR architectures for the Consumer Business Group. At NBC Universal, he managed a global DBA team across broadcast and entertainment platforms. He directed large-scale data migrations at Marriott and architected GCP migrations for SABRE Technologies including Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Cloud Spanner, and Firestore. That database foundation — spanning on-prem, hybrid, and cloud-native — gives him a depth of data architecture understanding that most cloud architects simply don't carry.

Jonathan helped lead and support the delivery of Marriott's Generative AI incubator infrastructure on AWS — establishing governed ML deployment pipelines, IAM controls, and cost management guardrails that supported all of Marriott's enterprise AI/ML initiatives. He achieved an 18% annual reduction in cloud spend through architecture optimization, FinOps governance, and rightsizing automation — with a consistent focus on measurable business value over hype.
